Claim workflow
1. Check the serial and claim status
Use Check Bonds to confirm the winning serial, denomination, draw, and whether the claim window is still open.
2. Prepare required documents
Gather the original bond and your identity documentation before starting the claim process.
3. Follow the process for your bond type
Bearer bonds (Rs. 100–1,500) and premium/registered bonds (Rs. 25,000, Rs. 40,000) follow different official processes — see the distinction below.
4. Identify a verified submission center
A searchable directory of verified centers is planned for a future release. Until then, use the official source to find your nearest center.
5. Submit and retain proof
Submit through the official process and keep proof of submission for your records.

Bearer vs. premium/registered bonds: the official process differs by bond type — bearer bonds (Rs. 100–1,500) are generally claimed at a commercial bank branch, while premium/registered bonds (Rs. 25,000, Rs. 40,000) follow a separate process, referenced in official sources as forms PR-1/PR-2. The exact current form links and process distinctions need official verification before this guide can state them definitively — check the official source for your bond type.
Claim window
Winning bonds are currently treated as claimable for 6 years from the draw date — this matches the primary source but the exact official calculation method and date interpretation is unverified for production. Check savings.gov.pk for the current rule, especially near the edge of the window.
